Course Overview

The practices involving organizational health and safety have evolved in recent years. Both employees and their employers are now taking greater measures to ensure the safety of their workplace. However, considerable training and evaluation still need to be undertaken. This comprehensive course has been developed by Exoexcellence Consultants to cover one of the most critical aspects of organisational health and safety: risk assessment.

The course comprises a single module made up of three base topics. The first will introduce you to the process of risk assessment and the reason why organizations should conduct it. You will also encounter the five essential steps of this process, which we will discuss in depth. The second topic provides a more detailed insight into the risk assessment process. It mentions the important terms related to the process, its goals and the purpose of conducting the risk assessment.

In the last topic, you will study how you can identify the hazards in the workplace and their severity. You will also learn to rank the risks and the factors on which risk assessment documentation depends. The last topic also contains a risk assessment template that you can use to conduct a risk assessment for your organization. This course also includes a summary at the end so that you can reinforce all the critical knowledge gained throughout. Lastly, on the successful completion of an assessment, you will be able to acquire an Alison certificate.
